Pezhman directs the development team to create innovative navigation solutions for medical applications. He has over 10 years of experience in medical image analysis, computer vision and medical software development. His work on needle tracking algorithms, ultrasound and stereo calibration, 3D reconstruction and device interfaces has been instrumental in the success of the developed solutions. His research portfolio includes over 40 peer-reviewed publications and patents.
Foroughi received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Johns Hopkins University at Baltimore in 2012. He holds MS degrees form the Johns Hopkins University and the Queen’s University at Kingston in Computer Science and Electrical and Computer Engineering.
